About This Race

Join us for the RUN FOR ASL 5K at Ballona Creek! This community-driven event brings people together through fitness, inclusion, and ASL awareness. Starting at Syd Kronenthal Park, participants will run along the scenic Ballona Creek path while supporting a mission focused on connection, education, and Deaf community outreach. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, this event is about movement with purpose and creating a more inclusive community for all.

RUN FOR ASL 5K 5K
Parking will be available near Syd Kronenthal Park, where participants will meet before the race begins. After check-in and a brief opening announcement, runners and walkers will start together and head out along the Ballona Creek path for approximately 1.55 miles before reaching the turnaround point. Participants will then return along the same route back to the starting area, completing the full 5K. Each participant will receive an official race bib and a RUN FOR ASL event shirt with registration. Upon completion of the race, participants will also receive a commemorative bracelet to celebrate their support for ASL awareness and the Deaf community. This out-and-back course is designed for all experience levels, with a focus on community, movement, and inclusion.
