About This Race
The New Castle Band 5K is a scenic, family-friendly run and walk on the Wilbur Wright Trail that begins and ends at the local YMCA. Now in its second year, the event raises funds for the New Castle band Boosters to support ensembles including Marching Band, Jazz Ensembles, Concert Band, and more. Strollers are welcome but pets are not, and prizes are awarded to the top 3 overall male and female finishers. As a fun run, no timing company is used this year.
