About This Race
The Founding Fathers Day 5K celebrates Independence Day in historic Washington, North Carolina, kicking off the city's July 4th and 250th Anniversary Celebration. The festive run/walk follows a scenic route through Washington's historic streets at 8:00 a.m. All registered participants receive an event t-shirt, with awards for top overall and age-group finishers. The event is timed by Run The East.

Top Overall Male, Top Overall Female, and Top Male and Female per age group: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
