About This Race

The 3rd Annual Countdown Mile is a one mile time trial hosted by San Antonio's Countdown Track Club at the University of the Incarnate Word stadium. Runners warm up with an easy group cruise around campus before racing the mile in multiple heats seeded by estimated finish time. The event is free to attend and open to runners of all abilities, with chip timing provided by IAAP. An afterparty follows at Backyard on Broadway.
