About This Race

The VanWinkle Memorial 5K Run/Walk honors Mr. John VanWinkle and his contributions to Colon, Michigan and the running community. Participants meet at the Colon Community School parking lot and run or walk the cross country course in his honor and around the athletic grounds for a total of 5k. All funds collected and donations go toward continuing the annual scholarship.
