Selma to Montgomery 51 Mile Relay

This race will start at 101 Broad Street in Selma and end at the state capitol in Montgomery. *Please note that the cutoff date for partner medals is Wednesday, October 15, 2025 and the cutoff date for tshirts is February 1, 2026.

This race will start at 101 Broad Street in Selma, AL and end at the state capitol in Montgomery. The participant will be solely responsible for transport of themselves and their bike to the start of the race. *Please note that the cutoff date for partner medals is Wednesday, October 15, 2025 and the cutoff date for tshirts is February 1, 2026

There must be 45 participants registered for this event. If 45 participants have not registered on or before registration ends on February 22rd, 2026, then this option will no longer be available. Participants who are registered for this option will have the option to receive a full refund for this event or transfer to the Bike Ride Event without transport where the participant will have to provide their own transportation for themselves and their bike to the start of the event in Selma.

This race will start at 101 Broad Street in Selma, AL and end at the state capitol in Montgomery. Transportation will be provided for the cyclist and their bike to the start point only. Bikes must be available for storage on Friday, March 20th, 2026 between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Bikes will be picked up at the Montgomery Multiplex at Cramton Bowl (1037 Pelham St, Montgomery, AL 36104) between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Participants will be transported to the start of the race on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Buses will load in front of the Renaissance Hotel between 3:30 and 4:30 am. The Virtual Run/Walk and Bike Ride will give runners/walkers and cyclists who cannot make it to the event for whatever reason the opportunity to participate. Runners/Walkers can choose the legs they would like to run and submit their time in their tracker through Run Sign Up. Runners/Walkers may also choose to complete the entire 51 miles. Mileage can be completed over a period of time or all at once. Virtual participants will have until Tuesday, April 15, 2025 to complete the virtual event and to submit their time for the race through Run Sign Up. Race goodie bags will be mailed out the week of the event for all virtual participants. *Please note that goodie bags for virtual participants will not be mailed out until the week of March, 11, 2025 regardless of when the race is completed. * **Please note that virtual participants do not qualify for awards.
