About This Race

The 2026 Shooting Star 5K Run & Walk for Life takes place on City Island in Harrisburg, hosted by Morning Star to fund Life-affirming pregnancy medical services in Central PA. The chip-timed 5K runs along the Riverside Walkway with medals and prizes, while the walk follows Front Street. Free family activities include live music, a pancake and sausage breakfast, train rides, a carousel, and a bounce house.
