About This Race
Fitness Racing might be the new thing, but we have been here for 4 years already!
Infusing a classic 5k with functional fitness movements, we have created a fun and challenging race to put you to the test!
If you are training for a Fitness Race, this is an excellent way to test yourself!
Each athlete will complete a 5k split into running sections divided by various fitness tests! All fitness movements are meant to be VERY accessible to all fitness levels.
The "Competitive" division will have set weights, box heights, etc for men and women.
The "Here for a Good Time" division will allow athletes to choose the weights, heights and movement scales that work best for them throughout the event!
Participants may run or walk or any combination of the two for the distance of the 5k.

- 20 Pull Ups
- 400m Run
- 20 Double Dumbbell Squats 35s/25s
- 400m Run
- 15/12 Cal Ski
- 400m Run
- 20 Box Jumps
- 400m Run
- 15/12 cal row
- 400m Run
- 200m Farmers Carry 53s/35s
- 400m Run
- 20 Single DB Lunges 50/40
- 400m Run
- 20 Plate Touches 45/35
- 400m Run
- 20 Burpees
- 800m Run
Weights listed for competitive division (Mens/Womens)
Good Time(and youth) division can use weights of your choice, but movements will stay the same.
Participants will start in heats of 3-5 staggered by 3 minutes. Final heats and start times will be released on the Wednesday prior to the event.
Athletes will receive an 'Fittest 5k' tank (mens and women's options)! MUST REGISTER BY AUGUST 7th to be guaranteed a shirt!
