About This Race

The Midnight Sun Block Party is a free community event in Wasilla, Alaska held June 27-28, 2026 on a 1.2 mile loop course under the midnight sun. Participants choose any distance from a single mile up to 100 miles, with options including 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, 50K, 50 mile, 100K and 100 mile. The event is beginner friendly and features a community aid station. Start times are flexible across the weekend.
