About This Race

The Malad Valley Marathon is an inaugural-year race in Malad City, Idaho, offering five distances: 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon. Every distance starts and finishes at Malad City Park and rolls north along the valley floor between the Bannock and Sublett Ranges. About half of every mile is on hard-packed dirt, with aid stations roughly every 2-3 miles and chip timing on the 5K, 10K, Half, and Full.
