About This Race
Run the Runway 5K takes place at New Garden Flying Field on the morning of the first day of the Festival of Flight Air, Car, & Tractor Show. The event features a 5K with prizes for top finishers in each age bracket, plus a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk along the runway. Participants witness the Festival of Flight setup before gates open at 2:00pm and the 5K starts at 8:00am with check-in beginning at 6:45am. Registration includes an Air Show t-shirt, a free pancake breakfast, and a 1-day ticket to the Festival of Flight Air Show.
