About This Race

The Sherwood Lake 4th of July Run Around the Lake takes place July 4, 2026 in Topeka, Kansas. The run starts at 7:00 AM from the Sherwood Lake Swim Beach and covers a 10K loop around the lake, or as far as participants choose. The course is open and not closed to traffic, with a water stop halfway around the lake. Coffee and treats from The Blind Barista are available before and after the race.

Packet Pickup

Number pickup at the Club House (6910 SW Fountaindale Road) Thursday July 3rd from 4 to 6 pm or the morning of July 4th at 6:30 am.
