About This Race

The Chatty 5k is the 4th annual race/walk in Owatonna, Minnesota, named after Dave Chatelaine in recognition of his 35 year coaching career. The race starts and finishes at Owatonna High School, with a kids fun run held right before the 5k. All proceeds support the Owatonna boys and girls cross-country teams.

Awards

The top 3 male and female finishers receive podium medals and all racers receive a finisher medal. There are also prize drawings after the race.

Packet Pickup

All packets with bib number and t-shirt can be picked up at the Owatonna Cross Country tent in front of the high school on race day starting at 7 AM until the race begins.
