About This Race
The Jim Omohundro Courage Memorial Sundown Rundown is a summer night road race held at the Eastside Sports Complex in El Paso, Texas. The chip-timed 5K run and 1 mile walk is in its 10th year and honors Jim Omohundro, a former El Paso police officer. The memorial race benefits youth in the area, with large medals awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age division.

Nice large medals to the top 3 finishers in each age division. Age divisions are 10-Under, 11-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-Over.
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Early packet pickup is Thursday 7/16/26 1pm-6pm at 9908 Trinidad; or pick up on Friday at the race.
