About This Race
The Galva Freedom Fest 5k is held July 4, 2026 at Wiley Park in Galva, Illinois, starting at 8 am. The course is in town and flat. Awards are equal for men and women, with trophies in each age group and special trophies for local Galva School District finishers and the first active military or veteran to finish. A best patriotic costume award is also offered.
