About This Race

The Fort Lewis 5K, known as the Toughest 5K in Glenvar, is a road course in Salem, Virginia with approximately 300 feet of climb in the first half followed by a fast descent to the finish. A 3K walk option is also available. The race supports community-based ministries for youth around Fort Lewis Baptist Church, with prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group awards.
