About This Race
The Dog Days 8K Cross Country Run is traditionally held the first Sunday in August at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland. The race uses the Earl Scott Trail and is the fifth leg of the Annapolis Striders Championship series, also part of the Maryland/DC RRCA Grand Prix Series. The 8K course includes a variety of running surfaces including grass, gravel, concrete, dirt, wood, and pavement.

Awards ceremony at 9:30 am: Top 3 Overall, 1 Masters, 3 in 19 and under, and 3 in each ten-year age group (male and female).

Bib Pickup and Race Day Registration in Lot M on third base side of baseball field, August 2, 6:30 am - 7:30 am.
