About This Race
Join us for the next leg of the Solidarity Sidekick as we head to Wilmington, home of the legendary Gemini Giant and The Launching Pad on historic Route 66. This untimed 6.6K celebrates the quirky roadside icons that make Illinois’ stretch of the Mother Road unforgettable.
Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome — come for the camaraderie, the collectibles, and the story‑driven experience that connects each stop along the route. Every participant receives a swag bag and medal featuring the Wilmington Stop 4 design.
