About This Race

The Rowlett Area Chamber of Commerce Freedom 5K & Fun Run is a patriotic Independence Day event held at Rowlett Community Park in Rowlett, Texas. The race features a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run with categories for all age groups, from children through senior citizens. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age category. The event celebrates the country's 250th birthday.
