Mail Pouch Beer Mile
Taking place after the 5K, allowing participants to compete in both events. The beer mile starts and finishes at the historic Mail Pouch barn and follows an out-and-back 0.25 mile course on the gravel driveway. - Beer will be provided unless participants prefer to provide their own (four unopened beer cans or bottles no less then 12oz, with a minimum ABV of 5%). - Each competitor drinks four cans or bottles of beer and runs four 0.25 mile intervals (start with chugging a beer, then run a lap, then beer, then lap, then beer, then lap, then beer, then lap - finish). - Beer must be consumed before the lap begins within the transition area. - Competitors who vomit before they finish the race must complete one penalty lap at the end of the race (immediately after the completion of their 4th lap). Vomiting more than once during the race still only requires one penalty lap at the end. - Follows all Beer Mile official rules - with the exception of it taking place on a standard 400m running track. Visit www.beermile.com/about/rules/1 for the complete rules list. - All participants must be 21+ years old to participate.
