About This Race

Hudson County's Strides for Safety 5K is an annual run/walk against gun violence hosted by the Office of the Hudson County Executive at Lincoln Park in Jersey City. The USATF-Certified course aims to raise awareness and support community organizations working to build peace. The event is followed by an After Party BBQ with an awards ceremony, music, family activities, and health-focused vendors.

Tasks vary from helping out with participants registration/check-in, handling t-shirts to runners, assisting with breakfast, assisting at the aid/water stations, etc. You will be assign a task once you arrive at the race location.
