About This Race
The Hatcher Romp Run 5K is the first annual running event held at Skeetawk Ski Area in Palmer, Alaska, taking runners through an alpine landscape in Hatcher Pass. The course climbs the Altitude Trail and completes a loop of the Meadow Loop Trail before descending and repeating. It is co-hosted by Blackwater Railroad Company, Kuuk Water, and Black Wolf Endurance as part of the Hatcher Romp. Proceeds support local youth running teams and the Noatak Cross Country Running Team.
