About This Race

The Port Oneida Run is the 16th annual run held at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Maple City, Michigan, with 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances plus a Kids Schoolhouse Dash. The courses traverse the scenic hills and pastoral pathways of the Port Oneida Rural Historic District, on a mix of trail, gravel, and paved roads. The professionally chip-timed event is a fundraiser for Sleeping Bear Forever, a non-profit preserving the National Lakeshore.

Hydration Support

Water/aid stations on each course; one past mile 1 on the 5K, multiple on the 10K and half marathon.

First overall male and female awards for each of the three races; age group awards; all runners receive a participant award.
