About This Race
Pat's Pony Express is a trail run at Rampart Reservoir near Woodland Park, Colorado, offering 8-mile and 16-mile distance options. Runners traverse rolling single-track dirt trails through running creeks, wildlife, and autumn scenery at elevations from 9,000 to 9,400 feet. The race is small by design with an entry limit of 150, and every finisher receives a unique award.
Course & Race Day Details
Hydration Support
Two aid stations (water only); participants encouraged to bring own hydration and nutrition.
Awards
Each finisher receives a finisher horseshoe; five randomly selected finishers win a one-year PPRR membership. No overall or age-group awards.
