About This Race

The Trak Shak Retro Run 5K is an annual evening 5K in Homewood, Alabama, with a Country and Southern Rock theme for 2026. A local band plays before and after the event, and a costume contest awards $100 cash to the winner. Each participant receives a bib that serves as a food and beer ticket plus a race shirt.
