About This Race

Run Elf Run is part of the Holiday Extravaganza presented by the Greater Pontiac Host Committee in Pontiac, Michigan, held on the first Saturday of December. The event includes Run Elf Run at 8:00 am and Run Little Elves Run at 9:00 am, alongside a parade and Winter FUN Festival. Proceeds support scholarships for local high school and community college students.

5k Run/Walk 5K
This is a chip timed out-and-back 5K road race taking participants through the Holiday Extravaganza parade route just hours before it begins. The route is closed to traffic courtesy of the Oakland County Sheriff's Office. The entire route is marked with orange cones so there's zero chance of getting lost. There is one water station on this route.

0.25 Mile Santa Kids' Run 0m
This event is a non-timed quarter mile run/walk for parents and children to enjoy together. Santa and The Grinch will encourage the kids to help catch the boastful Gingerbread Man! All registered children will receive a medal (different from the 5K medal), a Scholastic children's book and a sweet treat when they finish the run! Please remember the WinterFUN Festival will commence up the road at Saginaw & Huron St at 10:00am!
