About This Race

The Golden Gate 10K, 5K, and Double 8K offer views of the Golden Gate Bridge for more than 80% of the course. The races begin on historic Crissy Field near the Presidio of San Francisco and pass through the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. All participants receive a high-tech shirt and all finishers receive a Golden Gate medal.

Winners in each ten-year age group receive a special medal; Double 8K offers $200 in prize money ($100 for first man and woman) and trophies for the winners of each race.
