About This Race

The Brooklet Peanut 5k is an annual race held on the third Saturday in August at Brooklet Elementary School in Brooklet, Georgia. The very flat and fast course runs through the streets of Brooklet beginning at 7:15 A.M., with an awards ceremony at 8:30 A.M. The run is hosted by the Southeast Bulloch High School Cross Country teams as a fundraiser for travel and equipment costs.

Prices through June 1, 2026 - $25 and a guarantee of a t-shirt. On July 1st, 2026 the price will increase to - $30. On August 3rd the price will increase to $35 and NO guarantee of a t-shirt. Race Day - $35 What: 26th Annual Brooklet Peanut Run 5k Benefiting Southeast Bulloch High Cross Country Team When: August 15, 2026 Race Day Packet pickup 6:00a.m. till 7:00 A.M. Race day registration fee $35. 5K Run:7:15a.m./Awards Ceremony 8:30 A.M. Last chance registration and race packet pickup will be available on Fri. Aug.14th between 4:15p.m. & 6:45p.m. in front of the Brooklet Elementary School This years’ race will be limited to 500 runners. Only pre-registered runners whose race applications or online entries are received by August 5th will be guaranteed a T-shirt. Where: Brooklet Elementary School 600 West Lane Street Brooklet, GA 30415 About the Run & Course: The run ambles through the picturesque streets of Brooklet, GA. The course is flat & fast. In years past the course has been certified, however the certification expired in 2014. Race organizers have been attempting to re-certify the course however due to very few people available to certify the course we cannot guarantee a certification by race date. The course will be well marked and guided by a lead bicycler. Due to the August heat the run will begin promptly at 7:15A.M. It is imperative that all participants wear their assigned race Bib# on their front and visible at all times as timing will be by this number. This is a great run for the entire family at a great value. – Teams welcome!!!
