About This Race

The 2nd Annual Horseshoe Crab Run/Walk is a scenic 5K beginning at the Franklin Town Office in Franklin, Maine. The course starts with a gently downhill mile along Route 200 before turning onto Cards Crossing for the largest hill of the race, then heads back downhill onto the Sunrise Trail through Downeast Maine. Runners can celebrate the finish with a hot breakfast after the race.

Race bib pickup will take place on Friday, July 18, from 3:00-5:00 PM, and on race day from 7:00-7:45 AM.
