About This Race
The Denham Springs High School Cross Country team hosts the sixth-annual Dog Days of Summer 5k and 1-mile run in Denham Springs, LA. The race follows historic River Road with a shaded course, officially timed and managed by Threshold Timing. All proceeds beyond administrative costs are donated to the Denham Springs High School Cross Country program.

1-Mile: top 3 per age group. 5k: top overall male/female, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), plus 1st-3rd male & female in each age group; champions receive gift cards and singlets from Varsity Sports.

Packet Pickup
Early packet pickup at Denham Springs High School, 1000 N. Range Ave, Friday, July 31st, 3:30-6:30 pm; race-day pickup at race site starting 6:00 am.
