About This Race

The inaugural West Virginia Water Festival Trail Race is set in southern West Virginia's scenic river corridor and kicks off the WV State Water Festival. The course starts at the Pipestem Park Arboretum and follows a series of trails including River Trail, County Line Trail, Lake View Trail, and Lake Shore Trail past the beach and fishing pier before returning to the start. It offers three distances: 19.5 Miler, 13 Miler, and 6.5 Miler. Awards are presented to overall winners in each distance.
