About This Race

The Prairie Dairy 5k is the first annual timed 5K trail run or walk at Connorridge Farms in Oxford, Iowa, to raise money for a restorative native prairie creamery. The hilly, rough course runs on dirt and mowed grass, winding through restored Iowa tallgrass prairie, past a farm pond, and finishing at the dairy barn for music and awards. The event also features a prairie identification challenge, with finisher medals for those who identify native flora or fauna.
