About This Race

This is a chance to explore the Oakland Southwest Airport and the Warbirds of Glory Museum Open House and Food Truck Fly In with a fast 5K on the runways and taxiways of the airport. Packet pick up and race day registration begin at 7:00 AM and the race begins at 8 AM.  Awards, T-shirts, and Refreshments are part of the experience.  After the race, explore the Warbirds of Glory Museum that features the Sandbar Mitchell, a B-25 WWII bomber recently rescued from a sandbar in Alaska.
