About This Race
The Red, White & ZOOM Rocket Pop 5K is a new Independence Day race in Athens, Alabama. The certified course follows the Swan Creek Greenway, starting and finishing at the Athens Sportsplex by the swimming pool with a turn-around point halfway. The race is RFID chip timed by Race Ready Events and is open to runners and walkers of all ages and paces.

Hydration Support
Aid stations with hydration and electrolytes at START/FINISH; water at on-course station.
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Early Packet Pick-up Friday, July 3rd from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM at 100N Beaty Street; race day pickup starting 6:00 AM at the Sportsplex swimming pool parking lot.
Medical Support
Two aid and recovery stations with first aid; one at START/FINISH and one between mile 1 and 2.
