About This Race
The Farm Bureau Watermelon Classic benefits the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame & Museum and is held on July 4 in Jackson, Mississippi. Race day events include a chip-timed 5K Run, a 5K Walk, and a One Mile Fun Run, beginning on Lakeland Drive in front of the Ag Museum and finishing at the Museum. Cash prizes go to overall 5K Run winners, with medals for overall and age group winners.

Packet Pickup
Packet Pick-Up Opens Saturday, June 27th and Monday, June 29th through Friday, July 3rd each day from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Race Day Packet pick up is from 6:30 a.m. until 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 4th.
