Mountaineer Days 5k run/ 2k walk presented by Eastern Mountains Young Life

Mountaineer Days 5k run and 2k walk, presented by Eastern Mountains Young Life, runs through the historic town of Thomas, WV on July 4. The event kicks off Mountaineer Days and celebrates the 250th birthday of the United States, with fireworks in the evening. All proceeds from the race go to Young Life. The race starts near the Thomas Fire Hall and ends on the railroad grade below the Post Office.
