About This Race

Bernie's Run/Walk is an Independence Day tradition in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, hosted by the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA since 1984. The event offers a 3 Mile Run, a 3 Mile Walk, and a Kid's Fun Run for ages 2 to 10, starting from Wilkes-Barre Public Square. As a cause-driven organization, the YMCA uses the event to support youth development, healthy living, and community responsibility.
