About This Race

The Crank & Boom Sprint For Scoops 3K is a fun run/walk held at Wellington Park in South Lexington, Kentucky. The closed course features a 3K run/walk, a quarter-mile kids' dash, and a virtual option, with overall and age group awards. Participants receive a commemorative race shirt and craft ice cream, and the event benefits Fayette Eating, Education, & Delivery (FEED).

A fun, untimed 1/4 mile kids' dash for children 10 and under. There are no awards for this event, but participating children will receive a commemorative shirt and medal.

A chip timed 3K (1.86 miles) run/walk on paved trail surfaces. Awards will be presented for Top 3 M/F Overall and Age Group finishers (5 Year Age Groups, 1st/2nd/3rd M/F). Walkers, strollers, and dogs on fixed-length leash are welcome.
