About This Race
The Firecracker Fun Run 5K is a patriotic Fourth of July race at Oglebay Park in Wheeling, West Virginia, held on America's 250th anniversary. The course begins and ends at the Crispin Center, taking runners and walkers through the scenic roads and rolling hills of the park. A Costume Contest for Most Spirited / Best Dressed participant is held before the race, and all participants receive a race shirt.
