About This Race
The Mill Pond Mile is a one-mile family fun run around the scenic Mill Pond in New London, Minnesota, held each July before the annual Water Days parade. It is not an officially timed race and is open to all ages. Started in 2000 by Jim and Shelly Berg in memory of their son Cody, all proceeds provide college scholarships for members of the New London Spicer graduating class.
