About This Race

Run for the Bagel is Mattoon's 39th annual race held on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Participants choose to walk or run 1 mile, 5k or 10k distances that wind through Lytle Park and around Mattoon. Finishers celebrate with Lender's Bagels at the finish line, and all registrations prior to June 30th are guaranteed a race shirt.
