About This Race

The Color Blaze 5k Run/Walk is a colorful, untimed event in Le Claire, IA, taking place August 1, 2026 at 8 a.m. Each runner receives a t-shirt, a grab bag, and an individual color packet, with no age restrictions for participation. All proceeds benefit the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital to support the fight against childhood cancer.

Color Blaze 5k Run/Walk 5K
Race prices beginning on April 25, 2026 will be $25 per person. Beginning June 29, 2026 registration will increase to $30 per person. Please note that children 5 and under do not need to register for the event in order to participate, however, if anyone 5 or under would like a t-shirt they will need to register for the event.
