About This Race

Join us for a fun-filled community 5k event in Avon, Mn. Featuring a free Kids 1k, Toddler Trot and root beer floats at the finish. This family friendly event is designed for all ages and fitness levels, so feel free to run, jog, walk or simply enjoy the morning with friends and neighbors. Proceeds benefit students at Avon Elementary School. Hosted by Avon Community Church.

Kids 1k 1K
The kids 1k is a free event and open to kids ages 10 and under. The course will be clearly marked and supervised by volunteers. Parents are allowed to run with their younger children.

5k 5K
Awards will be presented to the top finisher in each age group. Age group divisions are 20 and under, 21-39 and 40 and above. The 5k course starts and ends at Avon Community Church winding through the city of Avon before heading onto the Lake Wobegon Trail for a flat out and back stretch. The course will be well marked and have volunteers throughout, with a water stop approximately halfway through. Race day packet pickup will be from 7:00-7:45 AM Participants who register before August 28th, will be guaranteed a t-shirt.
