About This Race

Lifeline's Run for One 5K is a family-friendly annual event at Veterans Park in Hoover, Alabama, started in 2011 to raise awareness and support for vulnerable children worldwide through Lifeline Children's Services. The morning includes a 5K, a 1-mile fun run, and a family festival with bounce houses, food trucks, and face painting. Runners can also participate virtually through the Run Where You Are option.

Gather your friends and family to run in your local parks, neighborhoods, or church! Everyone that signs up before 8/1/25 will receive a race t-shirt in the mail before the run date. **PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN NOT ENSURE YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR SHIRT BEFORE AUGUST 29TH IF YOU CHOOSE THIS OPTION AFTER 8/15/25.** Please note the additional $5 added to the in person registration cost is to help with packet shipping.
