About This Race

The Half Moon Bay Beach Safety Run takes place at Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon Bay. The event hosts 2 Mile, 5K, and 10K courses showcasing the Pacific coastline, Pillar Point Harbor, and the Pillar Point Marsh Trail, plus a noncompetitive Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under. It is organized by and a benefit for the Arunay Foundation, which works to reduce beach accidents and coastal drownings through awareness and education. All proceeds support the foundation's beach safety programs.
