About This Race

The Sunrise Stampede is a family-oriented 5K and 1 Mile run/walk held at Fall River Elementary School/Stephen Day Park in Longmont, CO, that raises funds to support Educator Grants for St. Vrain Valley Schools. Established in 1985, the 2026 event marks the 40th annual running, held the weekend before school starts. The 5K starts at 8:30 am with an awards ceremony following at 9:15 am.
