About This Race

The Bellwood Daze River Run is held each year during the Bellwood Daze celebration in Bellwood, Nebraska.

The 2-mile and 6-mile races are held on a mostly flat, out-and-back course consisting of pavement and gravel going north of town towards the Platte River. The turnaround for the 6-mile run is where Clear Creek meets the Platte River. The kids half-mile race is held entirely on paved streets in town.

Half-mile Kids Run
The Kids Run occurs before the 2-mile and 6-mile events. Adults are allowed to walk with the kids.

Virtual River Run
The virtual run start/end times indicate that it is only for August 3. However, you can do the run/walk at any time the prior week. You can run/walk any distance and running at/near/to a river is not required but it is encouraged. Email us your distance and time by the end of 8/4/2024 (the day after the race). Include a photo of yourself if you can. All entrants in the Virtual run will appear in the results as participants without specific ranking.
