About This Race
The Boggy Draw Beat Down is a mountain bike race in the San Juan National Forest on the Boggy Draw Trail System near Dolores, Colorado. Racers choose from 33-mile, 18-mile, and 15-mile courses on fast and flowing singletrack through ponderosa pines and aspen groves, with the longer courses including the McPhee Overlook Trail above McPhee Reservoir. The race is chip-timed by Rocky Mountain Timing and presented by the Rotary Club of Dolores, with all proceeds supporting children's programs, scholarships, and youth leadership. Amenities include a beer garden, race emcee, food vendors, and music.
