SPARK & SHINE 5K or 1 MILE RACE 2026

The Spark & Shine 5K Run/Walk is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of belonging, purpose, and community. This event exists to support individuals with special needs by helping fund the SPARK ministry at Life in Christ Fellowship and the annual Night to Shine prom, an unforgettable evening dedicated to honoring and celebrating people with special needs.

At the heart of Spark & Shine is a deep commitment to creating a place where every individual is welcomed, valued, and given the opportunity to participate in meaningful ways. We believe every person is uniquely created with purpose—worthy of being seen, known, and loved. Through this event and the ministries it supports, we strive to build a community that intentionally embraces and uplifts individuals with special needs, ensuring they have a place to belong and thrive.

By participating in Spark & Shine, you are helping create joyful experiences, foster genuine connection, and remind every individual that they are deeply loved by God and celebrated just as they are!

Participants can look forward to vendors, awards, snacks, beverages, chip timing, great competition and a lot of fun! 

Package pick-up will be on race day ONLY at the Riverview plaza in St. Clair.
