About This Race

The TMC Earth Day 5K is a 5K Run/Walk held at Biosphere 2 near Oracle, Arizona, in the western foothills of the Catalina Mountains. It is organized by Run Tucson, a producer of premier trail and road running events and RRCA-certified run coaching in Southern Arizona. The 5th annual event takes place on a Saturday morning.

To make family exercise more affordable, there is a $12 price for the first 70 children 12-and-under. The fee includes a race number, an official time, finisher's video, post-race snacks, and free entry to the Biosphere 2, but no t-shirt. If you want your child to receive a race shirt, please enter them in the regular 5k event.
